At 400,000 strong, Muslims account for over 5% of Switzerland’s total population. Yet for many years, Switzerland’s growing Islamic community lacked professional travel service providers who understood the unique needs of the Islamic Pilgrim on Hajj, Umrah or Ziyarat. Our founder Dr. Kamal Hamdy discovered this shortcoming in the Swiss Travel & Tourism Industry when he was planning his own Hajj and so IBAC Travel was born from his own need for trained and sensitive travel professionals.
In 1984, Dr. Kamal Hamdy devoted himself to the task of building a travel company that focused on religious trips for Muslims. IBAC Travel was founded with the aim of helping families like his own. He began a collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s largest tour operators for the purpose of organising and improving the Hajj and Umrah experience for people in Switzerland.
In its 28 years of existence, the Company has grown into one of the most sought after Swiss travel companies among Muslim Pilgrims. We have grown from a small group of travel professionals into a full-scale organisation that offers Hajj and Umrah programs for every budget to ensure that devout customers can devote themselves heart and soul to prayer while we take care of all the logistics of the trip.

Praise be to Allah, the lord of the worlds and peace and blessings of Allah be upon the noblest of the Prophets and Messengers. Our Prophet Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (Peace be Upon him). says: Islam is built upon five pillars:
The Testimony of there is none worthy to worship except Allah (La Ilaha Illa Allah) and Muhammad is His Messenger, Performing Prayer (Salah) Paying Charity (Zakat), Fasting the Holy month of Ramadan, Performing Hajj by those who can afford the relevant expenses.
Performing Hajj and Umrah are of the basic fundamentals of Islam. Allah has ordained it as a duty on His Servants to make the Pilgrimage to His Sacred House (Ka’bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, those who can afford the expenses.

Because the quest for salvation is a difficult path and believing sincerely that serving the Guests of Allah is highly rewarded by Allah, IBAC Travel has devoted itself since its establishment in 1984 to organize the Hajj and Umrah journeys to the Moslems residing in Switzerland and offering them all necessary services needed during their spiritual trip to make their trip comfortable and easy which in return will enable them to concentrate on their rituals peacefully and quietly.
I pray Allah would accept pilgrims Hajj & Umrah, and bestow upon them His forgiveness and reward.
